Adding Other Video Types to Your Blog

Want to add other video types including; MOV, MPG, MP4, MPG, QT, AVI, ASF, WMV, WMA, FLV, SWF? Well then read on below and we’ll tell you how…

Log in to your blog’s dashboard and click the ‘Create Blog’.

Once you have done that, scroll down the page until you find the ‘Podcasting’ application. Click ‘Add Media File’

A form will then show and you will need to add the following:

- Location: (This is the URL or link to the media file)

- Title: (This is optional and you can just ignore it)

- Type: (Once you paste the URL into the ‘Location’, this should auto-detect. If it doesn’t pull down the drop-down for a wide array of media options)

Dimensions: (Standard is 320×240, but boost it to 640×480 to really feel like your at a theatre)

Once you have done that you can click ‘Publish’ to post your blog and the video will automatically show up at the bottom of your post.

To control player location in your post, put [display_podcast] where you want it to appear.
